This weekend we had planned to stay home for both days and get all the relaxation as possible. I have been feeling like crude and so has Maddy and Aaron. But after getting a boost of energy enough to clean most of the house I suggested to Aaron that we go to Spring Valley and finally do some swimming there. So we did it. It was alot of fun. We got Cherise a new swim suit and all of us some swim shoes and we had a blast. The girls really got into it. Especially Cherise and Kayla. They were all over the lake. Maddy had a harder time actually wanting to get into the water but eventually she got in up to her waist.
I started to teach the girls how they can swim. We did the back float and tried the trust thing. And then we moved on the the breast stroke hehe. Kayle enjoyed both of them for a small amount of time but cherise wasn't too keen on the back float. But both of them did dunk themselves atleast once in the water. It was fun.

I just want to scream right now.
my kids are acting up and driving my totally crazy. I am counting the seconds till my hubby comes home to rescue me.
I went home early from work today!
The daycare did not need me all day today because there were not enough kids today. It kind ofmade me sad to have to come home. It really is strange for me to say that. I am the kind of person to normally be happy to finally be home. The atmosphere at the daycare is just so great for me and my emotional state. I just love the kids that are there and the two owners are great to talk with and fun to mess with. Oh well I guess I need to just enjoy the time at home because I am sure I will have days where all I want to do is go home.

Things my dad told me on Father's Day!!
My dad and I were talking on MSN together (kind of a rare occurance) and out of the blue he said the nicest things to me. I have not heard him say these things to me much. SO i find this very special!!
"Do you know I still have that email you sent me about working in the garden? I never did thank you for that. It was very special to me to know that you did learn and listen as you were growing up."
"I love you very much and am proud of the things you are doing. I understand you are working in a daycare. You will do very well there. As I told mom, those kids need loving and you do that well."
"I am so glad you are my daughter. You take care of yourself and those precious little ones you are responsible for."
I want to always remember these statements made by the greatest man I know!!!

I am going to be a comedian!!
I started watching the new season of Last Comic Standing on NBC and I just have to say I love that show. Its a great show when you just need to laugh. But from that show I have decided that I am goin got move to New York and persue the comedy rought. YEA RIGHT!!
But seriously I have come up with a funny routine for myself if I ever decided to become a comic. I thought I would share it with you:
*Applause*
"Hey there!! My name as they said is Sabrina. I am new to this comedy stuff....ok that is a lie. I have been married for 8 years and a stay at home mom for the 7 of those years so I have had alot of comedy in my life. If it wasn't for my husband and kids I would have no material for you tonight."
"When I became a Stay at home mom I thought "Wow I will have plenty of time to keep my house clean and play with my children. This will be great!" Then... we got cable. That was the end of that. My house got messier and my kids got more neglected. But do you know what is even worse then getting cable??...Losing your cable...Oh yea that is bad. Suddenly you are forced out of boredom to clean and play with your kids. UGH!!"
"But no!...Seriously..When we did lose our cable I found something else to preoccupy my time with...Quilting!!! Now you may be thinking.....UMM Quilting...thats not funny!!. But it is...and I will tell you how. I have made a lot of quilts for my kids and other family members. When you make a quilt for someone this is what you want it to say.."Here I made you this quilt so that when you use it you will know how much I love you and will always love you". But in reality when you make one this is what it really says...."I took up all my time that I could of spent with you to make this blanket that will never be used and will just take up your ever decreasing space" HA HA. No! Really! My kids need all 10 blankets I have made them."
"Speaking of blankets!....Did you know that a blanket has many uses when you are a child with an active imagination. They of cource use it as a cape to be a super hero, a diaper on a doll, a parachute when jumping out of a plane, or a shield ageinst the boogy man, the uses go on and on. But did you know that it shocks the heck out of a child if you told them they have to use it as a blanket. Yeah!! This happened to me when my 6 yr old was using her blue blanket as the ocean and she was in a boat (basket) fishing for whales (stuffed animals). We told her it was time to go to bed and that she needed to get her blanket. She was very confused. "Blanket?? What blanket?? I am fishing in the ocean." HA HA. She really seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. They just get so caught up in thier own games don't they!?!"
"I recently discovered that I suffer from PMDD--have you heard of it-- yea its Premenstual Demonic Disorder.....I like to call it raging PMS. My husband once asked if I get visited my the devil during this time. *shocked face* "The devil!!" I say "that is crazy! Why would you say a thing like that?" "Well..." he responds "I just figured the devil could take advise from you on how to be truely terrifying!" Great so now I can be giving advise to the Devil. "you had better sleep with one eye open Hunny!!!"
Well ok i may not be a stand up comic but atleast my husband and friends think I am funny. LOL

Messy kids
Man I wish I had a picture of everytime my kids made a true mess of themselves or of things through even just the last 2 weeks. Not to mention thier whole lives.
Just in the past two weeks my daughters have:
*Drawn on the walls with black crayon and pencil
*Drawn on themselves with perminant marker and lipstick (my toilet got the lipstick too)
*put various soapy things in thier hair with out being in the bath, lotion, lubricant, conditioner, shampoo, handsoap
*put food in a compartment in thier bedroom and left it there long enough to mold
*slather shamoo all over my toilet
*Crunch top ramen packets and empty them allover the bathroom floor
*Spray baby powder all over themselves and my bathroom or bedroom
These are things that have happened over the past few years thatare truely funny.
*Get into Kellis fridge and take out milk, eggs, butter, and other things and proceed to make a cake on her kitchen floor (lol Kelli you remember that lol)
*dig in my plants and spread the dirt all over my carpet (3-4 times they did this)
(TO be clear..this last picture of cherise is not of her flipping me of like it looks. lol This one goes with the above one where she wrote allover herself with permenant marker. She told me that she drew a friend on her finger. I asked her to show me and that is what she did. I just felt the need to document it hehehe)
Well those are the only pictures I coul dfind of memorable messes they have made. It figures they are of Cherise hehee. Madison now is our biggest mess maker so I will take future pictures of her. I am sure I will have many opportunities to do so. LOL

**I have a job dang it!!!**
Once agian I have someone telling me that I should get a job to get our family under a better financial situation. Someone that we met up with a few days ago said that they had a leadon a great job for Aaron. We got very excited because it would be quite a change in pay. Aaron contacted them today and asked abtou that lead and what he needed to do to get it and he was met with this response:
I know you got interested in that job. It would be nice, but the possibility of it is slim. Because of a few reasons. First, they have to see if anyone in the whole company is interested in it first. Then after that when they go out and find someone, they are looking for someone with about 10 years experience. I know you have some, but currently not enough. We will for sure keep our eyes open for jobs that you would do well in. But also, jobs that are worth uprooting the family and moving here. I would love to have you guys here, but it has to be for your family's benefit first.
I just kind of went off this morning about a few things. I think you need to start looking for another job around there that pays more and go to your boss and say. " I have this job, they are willing to pay me this much. If you can meet or beat it I will stay. Otherwise, I have to go." And if they say see ya, then oh well, you have another job that will pay more. If not then you get a raise. Also I really think you need to tell Sabrina to get either a night job or get a job when you are home. I know it sucks cause then you won't be with each other as much, but it is money. I know she wants to wait till the girls are all in school. But if she worked when you were home then it wouldn't be like she is having a babysitter or something. I dunno, I just want you to be happy and have the things you deserve. I think you should do what it takes to be a police officer. You would do sooo well and be sooo happy. You just deserve to be happy and so does your family. If that mean! s a bab ysitter or time without eachother than so be it. Ya know? Don't be mad at me, just understand that I want the best for you guys!
Now i know that we have been struggling to make our life better but we did not ask for these people to do anything to helpo that out. When we were with them they talked up this job alot and made it sound like he really had a chance to get it. BUt then only to be met with anger when he asked about it so he could prepare.
Now sure me getting a job that would take place when Aaron is not working would be ideal. Unfortunatly we live in a small town that does not cater to the needs of a stay at home mom looking for a short hour part-time job. And because of my weight the only job that i feel I could do successfully and beable to stick with is one I am sitting for a good portion of the day. The only two options I can think of here is the telemarketer jobs and a receptionist. Now I have looked into the telemarketer jobs here and none of them have hours that would work around my husband squedule.
Ok so we are not the wealthiest people and we do have times at the end of the month that a bit of extra money would help us out. But I do not think that it is wrong of me to want to stay home while my kids are young and be with them. I have told Aaron that I am willing to get a job when they are in school for most of the day. That is just next school year. That is not even that far away. I could then get a part time job and feel like i can succeed at it. Or another option is to go back to sewing doll clothes and selling them on eBay. I can not do that now because of where my sewing machine sits and the fact I can not trust my kids out in the livingroom by themselves.
I know that I am making the best decission for me and my family right now. And we get all our bills paid and even have some money for fun after that. I do nto see how me getting a job right now would make too much of a difference. But thanks anyway.
